Gautam Bakshi leads Product and Engineering at 15Rock. He is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all 15Rock key operating units, including Technology, Research, Product, and Operations.

Gautam is a former Managing Director and Global Head of Derivatives & Middle office Technology for a leading Global Wealth & Asset Manager. Gautam's career has focused on managing complex financial products through the entire lifecycle and trading platforms with clients worldwide.  Prior to that role, Gautam had progressively senior positions managing front-office capital markets technology teams that directly contributed to the firm's growth via $4 billion in new revenue and $150 million in expense reductions.

Gautam has over a decade of experience applying leading machine learning to reduce costs and generate meaningful revenue for both the sell and buy-side. He has worked in leadership roles for leading firms such as Manulife Asset Management, Scotia Capital, TD securities, and various niche investment funds with AUM ranging from 35B to over 800+Billion.

In addition to leveraging this depth of experience for 15Rock, Gautam currently serves as an advisor to fintech startups and investment funds.

Gautam received a B.Com Degree from Ryerson with a specialization in IT Management and a Diploma from Seneca College focused on software engineering.
